Bloomington Hotels Overview

Bloomington is most famous for being home to the Mall of America - the largest mall in the United States, and the second largest in the World. The city is also well known as the former home of the present Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins.

Bloomington is divided into two logistical communities by the 35W Interstate - East and West. The West side is primarily a bedroom community but offers some nice housing. East Bloomington is more industrial and offers lower income housing. As with any city in Indiana, football is as much of a religion as it is a sport, so sports bars are not too hard to find throughout the city.
