Daytona Beach Florida is well known for its speedway and the incredible Spring Break activities hosted here every March and April. Daytona Beach is 23 miles of pristine sandy beach, lined by a boardwalk, shopping promenades, and a fishing pier, near Main Street just to keep things interesting. The tides are calm and wide at this beach making it one of the safest beaches for kids.
If you find your kids' minds wandering after a few days at the beach, consider traveling a miles to Kennedy Center, home of the Space Shuttle launch bad; you are after all on Space Coast! Or consider a couple hour drive inland to Disney World. Or, consider an hour jaunt North to Jacksonville, for a night on the town.\
