Los Angeles Hotels Overview
Los Angeles is the media and entertainment capital of the World and is host to some of the World's most famous neighborhoods
such as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, and Malibu. The city was developed in the age of the car and is thus is
very spread out. Mass transportation options are still limited so having a car will be an absolute necessity unless you are
staying near the Airport.
Once you have arranged a car for your stay, be sure to visit the coastal cities of Santa Monica, Malibu and the Palisades,
and take a scenic drive up Sunset from the beach to Westwood and through Beverly Hills to Hollywood. Too many people end
up heading straight from the Airport to Disneyland and Downtown and end up seeing all of the worsed parts of LA without
seeing all of the wonderful parts that make the city so worthwhile.
Where you arrange for Los Angeles hotel accommodations will really play a large part in what sort of experience you have. If you want
an exciting fun time, consider staying in West Hollywood, near Sunset. Notable Hollywood hotels include
Hollywood Celebrity Hotel and the
Clarion Hollywood Roosevelt.
If you'd like to experience elegance, consider a hotel in Beverly Hills such as the
Beverly Wilshire, or the
Beverly Hills Inn.
And, if you want a wonderful beach hotel experience, checkout the hotels along Ocean drive in Santa Monica such as the
Lowes Santa Monica Beach Hotel and the
Casa Del Mar.
