Reno Hotels Overview

Reno has become known as the "Biggest Little City In America" because it's size does not match it's personality. Still a reasonably quaint city nestled in the Truckee Meadows amidst the Sierra Nevada Mountains; Reno is also affectionately referred to by some as "Las Vegas North". The city has a rich gaming tradition and hosts a large number of events and conventions.

Timing is everything when visiting Reno, unless you mind paying 3-4 times the RAC rate for your hotel room and having to book a year in advance, be sure to avoid holidays and any obvious convention dates.

If you would like to stay near the Reno Convention Center, the Atlantis Casino is located directly across from it to make your commute a breeze. The Silver Legacy downtown offers 150,000 square feet of convention space and has excellent catering and convention services. If you want a place off the beaten path where you can cook your own meals and do your laundry, the Truckee River Lodge offers these amenities.
