San Antonio Hotels Overview
There is more to San Antonio that meets the eye. With more than 300 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 69 F, this city is a ideal for conventions and tourism. If you're in town for fun be sure to check out Six Flags, Splashtown on a hot day, or Sea World. It you are a sports nut, catch a game with the San Antonio Spurs. If you want to do some shopping, be sure not to miss the three-mile River Walk - the pride of the city. Market Square is an interesting shopping experience as well, offering an authentic Mexican marketplace experience. And of course, if you are a history buff - the city offers a rich history, which can be experienced by visiting the Concepción, San José, San Juan and Espada, the Spanish Governor's palace, and Missions San Antonio de Valero, better known as the Alamo.
The best areas to stay in San Antonio are by the Riverwalk, and Seaworld.
If you prefer an amuusement park setting such as SeaWorld, consider the
Best Western Lackland, or the
Ramada Limited.
If you prefer a more cosmopolitan atmosphere, stay near the Riverwalk at hotels such as the
Clarion Hotel or
Radisson Market Square.
