San Diego Hotels Overview
San Diego is a true visitor's paradise which boasts nearly year-round 82-degree sunny weather, beautiful beaches,
and a thriving Downtown. The city has gone through some revitalization in recent years, which has resulted in the
happening new Gas Lamp district, a new Convention Center, and a new light rail system which connects the airport,
Downtown, and most parts of the city, all the way down to the Mexican Border. Other impressive parts of the town
include La Jolla Village to the North, and Balboa park to the East, which features the city's art's museums and
award winning zoo on top of a hill, with a picturesque view of Downtown.
When seeking a San Diego hotel, consider the
U.S. Grant
Downtown which is the oldest and most stylish hotel in the city. The
Hyatt Regency Hotel near the Convention Center. The
Catamaran Hotel
on Mission Beach is a great beach location, as is the legendary
Hotel Del Coronado,
the largest all-wooden structure in the United States.
