San Francisco Hotels Overview
San Francisco is consistently voted America's favorite city; it is also known as America's most European city.
That irony aside, the city is chalked full of character like no other, from the classic Victorian townhouses that
line it's hills, to the trolley cars that run the city's streets. Visitors of this great city can walk or take the
trolley cars to just about anything. While you're in town be sure to visit Fisherman's Wharf, Quaite tower and
grab some lunch at one of the Italian bistro's in North Beach before heading back to the center of town to see Knob
Hill, the largest Chinatown outside of China, and Union Square, where most of the hotels and shopping are located.
There are a few exceptional (and exceptionally priced) hotels on Knob Hill
but if you choose to stay in the Union Square area, consider the
Sir Francis Drake, with its trademark Beefeaters out front, the
Pan Pacific , or
Campton Place.
